The outer shell is made from BioFabbrica Bio-Tex™, which contains 64% USDA-certified bio-based content. It is manufactured in Italy and engineered with non-GMO plant protein grown in North America. The Ella Bio was developed in partnership with Modern Meadow, an American biotechnology company on the cutting edge of sustainable material innovation.
